Important Dates to Schedule with Your Employer
The following dates are Sabbaths according to the Israeli reckoning of the Jewish Calendar. Let your employer know that you need these days off from work. Note that each of these holy days begin the previous day at sunset.

- April 26, 2008: Pesach 7 (The seventh day of Passover falls on the weekly Sabbath)
- June 9, 2008: Shavu'ot (Pentecost)
- September 30, 2008: Rosh Hashanah (Feast of Trumpets)
- October 9, 2008: Yom Kippur (The Day of Atonement)
- October 14, 2008: Sukkot (First day of Tabernacles)
- October 21, 2008: Shemini Atzeret (Eighth Day Assembly)
