Dag Ba'Omer | Beth Immanuel Messianic Synagogue

Dag Ba'Omer

On the seventeenth day of the Omer, our Master Yeshua appeared to his disciples beside the Sea of Galilee while they were fishing. Relive the touching story of John 21 with your brothers and sisters by celebrating the holiday of "Dag Ba'Omer," that is, "Fish in the Omer." Every year on the seventeenth day of the Omer, the community of Beth Immanuel gathers at sunrise beside the banks of the Saint Croix River to eat fish, drink coffee, and remember the resurrection of our Master.

To learn more about Dag Ba'Omer, read this tongue-in-cheek article by Aaron Eby.

This year the contributions and donations collected for the Dag Ba'Omer event will be used as proceeds for scholarships to send Beth Immanuel kids to Camp Tzadi.
