Dump Cake
Description:
A delicious dessert recipe with an unappetizing name. This is the recipe everyone was asking for.
Ingredients:
20 oz can crushed pineapple in heavy syrup
21 oz can cherry pie filling
1 pk yellow cake mix
3 oz can chopped pecans
8 T butter
Instructions:
Preheat oven to 350.
Grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
Spread the pineapple with its syrup evenly in the pan.
Spoon the pie filling evenly over the pineapple.
Sprinkle the dry cake mix evenly over the fruits.
Sprinkle the chopped pecans over all.
Slice the butter into thin slices and distribute evenly over the top.
Bake for 50 minutes.
Serve Warm.
Notes:
Always use your crushed pineapple as your base-fruit. You can alternate the second fruit with cherry, apple or peaches.
