Daniel 7

Four Angels and the War for the Land of Israel

Jacob's vision of a ladder reaching to heaven upon which angels ascend and descend contains a hidden meaning about spiritual warfare, the exile of the Jewish people, and their inheritance in the land of Israel. This teaching connects the dots and reveals the mission of Yeshua to redeem the Jewish people from exile.

The Book of Deeds

On Rosh Hashanah, the heavenly court opens The Book of Deeds in which every day of your life is recorded. Who wrote this book? How did your signature get in it? Listen to a teaching from Beth Immanuel's first day of Rosh Hashanah 5778 about a biography of your life--your autobiography--written in heaven.

Days of Messiah and the World to Come

Will the dead be raised before the Messianic Era or after the Messianic Era? This teaching on Revelation 20 distinguishes between the Days of the Messiah and the World to Come and between the first resurrection and the second resurrection. Important information for sorting out New Testament eschatology.

The Beast from the Sea

The Book of Revelation depicts a terrifying beast rising out of the sea. The whole world goes astray after the beast, worshipping it and asking, "Who is like the Beast?" Who is the Beast? What do the seven heads, ten horns, and diadems represent? This teaching makes the connection between Daniel's vision of four beasts and the Beast that rises out of the sea.

The Woman and the Dragon

Revelation 12 describes a cosmic battle between two great constellations: the woman and the dragon. The seven-headed dragon of Revelation 12 is identified as Satan, but who is the mysterious woman with the sun and the moon and twelve stars? This teaching reveals the identity of the woman and the hidden identity of the dragon.

25 Times of the Gentiles

What is the "time of the Gentiles" and how long does it last. This teaching on Revelation 11:1-2 provides the background for the command to "rise and measure the temple" and insights into the trampling of the holy city.

Then I was given a measuring rod like a staff, and I was told, "Rise and measure the temple of God and the altar and those who worship there, but do not measure the court outside the temple; leave that out, for it is given over to the nations, and they will trample the holy city for forty-two months. (Revelation 11:1-2)

The Four Living Creatures

What are the four living creatures around the throne of glory? What is the meaning of the face of the lion, the ox, the eagle, and the man? Take a peek behind the veil at the throne of glory and the worship of the Almighty in Revelation 4. This teaching on the heavenly temple reveals the connection between the heavenly worship service and the kedushah prayer in the synagogue liturgy today: Holy, Holy, Holy is the Lord of Hosts.

The Keys of Death and Sheol

In the first chapter of the book of Revelation, the risen Yeshua appears and declares that he holds in his hand "the keys to death and Hades." What are these keys and from where did he acquire them? What do they unlock?

This teaching, presented on Erev Rosh HaShanah 5776, discusses the resurrection of the dead in relationship to the shofar of Rosh Hashanah.
