More about Vayechi

What's going to happen in 2024 and the days to come? Here's a largely pessimistic assessment of the world as we stumble into the secular new year which makes the light of the hope of the coming kingdom shine all that much brighter for the darkness.

People on their deathbeds often report seeing angelic beings or even the presence of deceased family members. Are these merely hallucinations created by a dying brain, or are they glimpses into the World of Souls. This teaching from Shabbat Vayechi explores the meaning behind the biblical euphemism of being gathered to one's people.

When Jacob finished commanding his sons, he drew up his feet into the bed and breathed his last and was gathered to his people (Genesis 49:33)

The Bible says, "Where there is no vision, the people cast off restraint." But what is the vision? Here's a talk on the vision behind Messianic Judaism for All Nations and how it differs from other forms of Judaism and Christianity. This teaching presents "the big picture" in the context of a discussion on Jacob's blessings over his sons at the end of the book of Genesis.
