The Three Weeks and Fast of Av
We are at the end of the three weeks and the conclusion of the nine days during which we commemorate the destruction of the holy Temple. The Fast of Av begins Saturday August 13 at 8:20 PM (Hudson time) and concludes at 8:50 PM on Sunday. At Beth Immanuel we will host services for the Fast of Av as follows:
SATURDAY AUGUST 13
- Ma’ariv and Lamentations: Saturday August 13, 9:00 PM
SUNDAY AUGUST 14
- Shacharit with Kinot: 9:00 AM
- Minchah: 7:00 PM
- Ma’ariv: 8:20 PM
Rosh HaShanah 5777 and the Holidays
Get ready for the big New Year’s 5777 party at Beth Immanuel with three days of celebration, two days of horn blowing, and one long day of Rosh HaShanah. This year the annual Rosh HaShanah Ingathering begins with a services and a festival meal Sunday night October 2. The Erev Rosh HaShanah meal on Sunday October 2 will be a ticketed event: $15.00 per adult, $45.00 max for family, kids 12 and under are free. To obtain tickets, you must RSVP by submitting an email to Beth Immanuel.
Monday and Tuesday October 3-4 will include synagogue services, new songs, 100 blasts on the shofar, tashlich at the Saint Croix River, and plenty of apples and honey for a sweet new year.

Revelation and Plugged In Resumes
We are getting geared up for the return of the Wednesday Night, Beth Immanuel Plugged In Services. Every Wednesday night, starting September 7, we plug in the guitars for a night of conventional Christian praise and worship, a teaching from Pastor Lancaster, and a children’s Bible program. This year the teachings from Revelation continue, picking up in Revelation 8. You can catch up with the first twenty teachings from the series of Revelation here.
Romans Class
We are in the process of posting the teachings from Pastor Lancaster’s Bible study through the book of Romans. Follow along on a Messianic Jewish explanation of one of the Bible’s most pivotal books. Messianic Jewish Class on Romans
Malaveh Malkah for Miriam the Mother of the Master
We will remember the life and the passing of Mary the mother of the Master at a special Malaveh Malkah gathering, Saturday August 20, 9:30 PM, at the Mitchell House.
