Passover at Beth Immanuel April 19-27

Passover this year begins Friday night, April 19. Here's a new teaching about Yeshua's Triumphal Entry to help prepare for the festival: The Entrance of the King.

As you celebrate your seder meals in remembrance of the Master, his last supper, his suffering, his death, and his resurrection, let us help you navigate through the holiday.  Use our Passover Page to find teachings, articles, and resources related to Passover. Passover begins on Friday April 19. Join us in Hudson for first days of Passover April 19-20, or come for the festival conclusion April 26-27.

  • Sat Apr 20: First day of Passover Services and Teachings, Kiddush Rabbah Lunch; Second Seder Night
  • Sun Apr 21: Second day of Passover/Resurrection Services and Teachings
  • Fri Apr 26: Seventh Day of Passover
  • Sat Apr 27: Last Day of Passover

Counting the Omer

The counting of the Omer begins this year on Satruday night, April 19 with our annual Motzei-Shabbat resurrection service. Make it your goal this year to count the omer every night, and use this handy Omer Counting Chart to stay on schedule. Includes instructions for counting.

Meal of Messiah

There will be no community "Meal of Messiah" this year on the eighth day of Passover. Plan on hosting one in your home and inviting guests.

Dag Ba’Omer

On the seventeenth day of the Omer (Tuesday, May 7this year) we acknowledge the story of John 21 and the appearance of our Master beside the Sea of Galilee with an outdoor fish breakfast called Dag Ba’Omer. Make plans to attend now. You can now order your 2019 Dag Ba'Omer wear online. (Sorry, we don't ship. For pick up in Hudson only.)

Shavuot Conference June 7-10: King David’s Birthday

First Fruits of Zion’s national conference will not take place over Shavuot this year, but we are still hosting a smaller-scale conference over the Shavuot weekend, June 7-10. Join us in Hudson for a Shavuot experience focused on the holiday, the giving of the Torah, and outpouring of the Spirit, and the life and stories of King David. We’ll have teaching, music, Sabbath and holiday meals, and activities for children, youth, and young adults.

  • Sat Jun 8: Shabbat Services, Kiddush Rabbah Meal, Afternoon teachings, Erev Shavuot Prayers, Late night Erev Shavuot Meal
