Cheshvan 5776

Shalom Beth Immanuel Community and Virtual Members,

The High Holidays and Sukkot at Beth Immanuel were amazing—a whirlwind of prayer services, Torah readings, holiday teachings, special events, social gatherings, and holiness. God gave us beautiful, Edenic weather through the entire Festival of Sukkot. It was a sweet time of fellowship, learning, and celebration.

The Three Campaigns

On the first day of Sukkot this year, Pastor Lancaster introduced the community to three new campaigns for 5776:

  • Come Home to Hudson
  • Oneg Shabbat
  • Messianic Jewish Learning Center.

We have already unveiled the first of the the three campaigns: Come Home to Hudson. The details about the Oneg Shabbat campaign and the Messianic Jewish Learning Center are still under wraps, but we anticipate that they will be released to the online community in the coming weeks.

All three campaigns need your help and participation. Help us accomplish this work. Promote the campaigns to your friends and family as we release the details, and support Beth Immanuel financially in these kingdom-building endeavors.

Come Home to Hudson Campaign

We have already launched the first of the three campaigns: a new initiative urging Messianic Jews and Gentiles to consider relocating to Hudson, WI. Listen to the teaching Exile Yourself to a Place of Torah, and check out the Come Home to Hudson campaign online where you can read stories about people who have made the move and where you can learn about the area. Then pray with us about the posibility of moving to Hudson (or the Greater Minneapolis Saint Paul Area) and joining us in the work of the kingdom.

Apocalypse of John

Beth Immanuel Plugged In services have resumed on Wednesday nights. Join us every Wednesday at 7pm for music, a children's program, and Pastor Lancaster’s new teaching series Apocalypse of John. This Wednesday night’s teaching will discuss different interpretive schemes for the book of Revelation.

Is the book of Revelation a book about things that happened in the past, things that were supposed to happen in the future of the past, or things that are yet to happen in our future?

Find out October 21st in the teaching titled Back to the Future.

Teaching Galatians in China

Pastor Lancaster has plans to visit China this November along with Boaz Michael of First Fruits of Zion. They will be teaching and supporting the release of Chinese versions of HaYesod and Holy Epistle to the Galatians. Pray for God's support, protection, and the success of the mission.

New Torah Cycle Underway: Bereishit

We have started the new Torah cycle. Did you know that you can find the weekly Torah portions, haftarah portions, and Sabbath Candle-lighting and Havdalah times on the front page at bethimmanuel.org?

Hebrews Sermons Online
All 46 teachings from Holy Epistle to the Hebrews have been transferred to the new website. Catch upon the Book of Hebrews here.

Beth Immanuel Torah School Goes Weekly

Beth Immanuel Torah School for children ages 5-12 is starting up again Sunday, Oct. 25. This year the Torah School will meet every Sunday rather than every other week. Families who want to attend should send an email to the office (or use our online contact form). Parents are also encouraged to contribute a suggested $10 per child materials fee.
