What Candles are Acceptable for Chanukah? - Hilchos Chanukah Series

Welcome to the Hilchos Channukah series where we review the laws of Channukah as laid out in the classic work known as the Kitzur Shulchan Aruch (Abbreviated Code of Jewish Law - קִיצור שֻׁלְחָן עָרוּך‬) by Rabbi Shlomo Ganzfried. Published in 1864, the work is a summary of the Shulchan Aruch (Code of Jewish Law - שֻׁלְחָן עָרוּך‬) of Rabbi Joseph Karo, with references to later rabbinical commentaries.

In this lecture we discuss paragraphs 2-4 of Chapter 139 that deal with fasting on Channukah, what candles are kosher to use, and a strong woman's custom on Channukah
