New Bible Study: The Sayings of Our Master

Our Master says: “My mystery is for me and for the sons of my house.”

DelitzschDelitzsch

Come study the wisdom and mysticism of our Master, Rabbi Yeshua of Nazareth. Tuesday nights at 7:00 PM, D. T. Lancaster hosts a weekly study on the sayings of Yeshua from a Messianic perspective. The study organizes the teachings of our Master topically, drawing from the four gospels and extra-biblical Agrapha.

Friday Morning Rashi Study

Do you want to understand and become familiar with Jewish sources but do not know where to start?

Join our Friday morning group as we study Rashi's commentary on the weekly parashah. We meet from 7:30 - 8:30 am each week in the Beth Immanuel library. If you can only come to a part of the class, that's just fine.

You can also join the class live online by visiting our hangout on Google+. See instructions at the end of this post.

Rashi, an 11th century rabbi, is one of the most prolific authors in Judaism. His commentaries on the Hebrew Scriptures and on the Talmud are considered foundational. Learning Rashi's commentary on the Torah is an essential part of a basic Jewish education.

H.O.M.E. Meals

Every few months, Beth Immanuel has the opportunity to organize a meal for
the local Hudson community as a part of the Hudson Outreach Meal for Everyone (H.O.M.E).

The November and December dates involve all of the local churches.

Please contact us if you would like to share in this mitzvah.
